Use a damp cloth, and lightly wipe all around the device. Make sure to avoid getting any water in any of the ports as this can damage the device. Once the outside has been thoroughly cleaned, reattach the cables and plug the Wii U back into the power source. Your Wii U should now be free of dust, and is ready to be used again. To open your Wii U to clean it, you’ll need to first remove the back casing, then remove the heat sink cover and any other components that need to be disconnected in order to access the inner parts. Make sure to disconnect any cables or power cords before you start unscrewing the back. You should also make sure to ground yourself by touching a metal component, such as the Wii U’s aluminum case, before you start to avoid any static electricity shocks.
